Geometry Decomposition

Geometry decomposition is often required to generate an all-hexahedral mesh for three-dimensional solids, as fully automatic all-hex mesh generation of arbitrary solids is not yet possible in Cube-it. While geometry booleans can be used for decomposition (and are the basis of the underlying implementation of advanced decomposition tools described here), Cube-it has a webcut capability specially tuned for decomposition. It is also useful to split periodic surfaces to facilitate quad and hex meshing.
